Niece’s Visit

My parents arrived a few weeks ago and brought along my niece to explore New York.  The weekend was jammed pack.  Friday we went to see the tree at Rockefeller Center and visited Top of The Rock.  Saturday we arrived first thing at The American Girl store, where her doll ended up getting a facial and a new hairdo.  Not to mention a boat load of clothes for Christmas.  There was one moment where fake tears were shed with the help of the water faucet to entice Granny to let her play with ONE OUTFIT!! Next we hit Chinatown for some wheeling and dealing on some Chanel bags.  She actually got a free bag out of the deal for being so darn cute! A quick trip to Central Park to see Balto the Dog then back to the hotel for dinner.  Sunday we visited the Statue of Liberty and visited Toys R Us in Times Square. Granny spent the whole time in line for the bathroom. Later that night we saw the Rockettes at Radio City Musical Hall.  We ended the night with pedicures, salad, and a huge bag of Dylan’s candy.  It was such a nice time and I hope that many happy memories were made for her.
