Mom’s cookbook from 1970! Good Lord! To see what recipes were popular 40 years ago is a riot. Anyone for Chipper Tuna Casserole? ( I feel like a closet tuna casserole lover, but I requested this dish many a times in my childhood) Cream of mushroom soup topped with crushed potato chips. Oh Yeah!!

Get out your Ipod out and crank up some Debby Boone “You Light Up My Life” or Anita Ward “Ring My Bell” and enjoy these old school cupcakes.
Preheat Oven to 350.
3 oz. cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt.
Beat and stir in 16 oz. of chocolate chips. Set aside.
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup water
1/3 cup of oil
1 tsp. vinegar
Fill cups 1/3 full of dark mix and add 1 tsp. of light mix on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
